As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve and the need for personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical technologies is rising, Texavie has unleashed our expertise for development of novel materials for redesigning masks, gloves and PPEs from the ground up for medical personnel and the general public and developing wearable devices for monitoring health of patients remotely.

Canadian government has asked businesses to offer medical supplies or services for Canada’s response to this pandemic. Healthcare workers on the front line are facing a shortage of medical supplies. They have to wear their facemasks for a long time, bruising their faces. As the use of masks for the general public is suggested by some provinces, the need to redesign the masks is imminent.

Texavie is developing advanced N95 masks from natural and renewable sources within Canada to increase our independence and security. We are also redesigning the masks to have best fit and comfort for lengthy use by healthcare workers and the general public. Advanced nanofiber technologies with antiviral and anti-bacterial biocides are incorporated into the design to improve protection and achieve better breathability. SImilar technologies are being developed for better gloves and PPEs by our company.

Texavie is also accelerating our development of low-cost wearable health sensors that can help physicians to connect with patients remotely for tele-health and checking their health conditions!

We are working with different partners and manufacturers to help our country and international communities that are suffering. We are rapidly developing these technologies to reach the market soon.

If you are interested to learn more and want to collaborate and partner with us, please contact us and let’s talk. We would like to work with you for the fight against COVID-19 and other future pandemics.
