Texavie Robotic Skin provides human-like tactile sensation to robotic systems and humanoids, enabling them to perform intricate real-world tasks with precision. Our soft and durable skin is embedded with proprietary Sensor Yarns that among variety of parameters detect subtle forces and movements with high-precision during tasks and handling objects. Data generated by our Robotic Skin is processed using our proprietary AI algorithms to complement vision data for achieving dexterity and accuracy requiring minimal calibration.

As a human counterpart to our Robotic Skin, our Robotic Gloves use the same technology to precisely track human hand and finger movements and tactile forces for training, tele-operation, and precise robotic manipulations. Through accurate mapping of tactile forces and hand motion in real-world operational scenarios our solutions enable effective and targeted training and control of robotic systems for desired applications.

Human-like Skin Sensitivity and Dynamic Range

Our proprietary Sensor Yarns provide mulitmodal sensing of pose, force, and pressure complemented with AI-based simple calibration. Our Sensor Yarns have ultra-wide stretch response (0.0001%-1,000%) with minimal hysteresis, detects pressures as low as 1 kPa to multiple kilograms, and are built for real operational environments. They are flexible, conformable, reliable, durable, washable, and water-resistant.
